Alijah Wayne, a former standout at Omaha Central High School and current player for the North Dakota State Bison, will participate in the NCAA Division I FCS Football Championship.

North Dakota State enters the tournament as the top seed and will face the Illinois State Redbirds, who are seeded 16th.

The championship’s first game is set for Saturday, Dec. 6, at 12 p.m.
