Dillon Claussen, known for his career at Creighton Preparatory School, took part in the Washburn Ichabods’ 88-49 victory over the Pittsburg State Gorillas on Wednesday, Feb. 25.
The 6-foot-8 sophomore forward posted 23 points, secured five rebounds and added two assists across 32 minutes of play.
Claussen and the Ichabods are set to host Missouri Southern State Lions on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 1 p.m.
Omaha Softball will face St. Thomas in a key Summit League series starting April 10 after an eight-game win streak. The Mavericks have achieved their highest-ever mid-major ranking this season and recently celebrated pitcher Alexis Wiggins’ weekly league honor.
Creighton’s softball series against Georgetown has been rescheduled due to rain in the forecast. The teams will now play a doubleheader on Friday and one game Saturday. Fans with Sunday tickets can exchange them for another home game.
These former City of Omaha area high school athletes are set to compete on Friday, April 10.
