Creighton Baseball lost to Sacramento State 7-4 on March 28, evening the series between the two teams. The defeat puts Creighton’s season record at 12-12, while Sacramento State improves to 11-17.

The outcome was decided early as Sacramento State took a lead with two runs in both the second and third innings. Michael Perazzo hit an RBI single and a bases loaded walk added another run for the Hornets in the second. In the third inning, Cameron Sewell contributed an RBI single and Nikhil Beasley grounded out but brought home another run.
