Creighton University announced on March 11 that its women’s softball team’s home opening series against Providence has been rescheduled because of expected weather in the Omaha area.

The change affects the timing and structure of the Bluejays’ first BIG EAST series at home. The opener, originally planned for Friday at 5 p.m., will now begin earlier at 3 p.m. Additionally, Creighton and Providence will play a doubleheader on Saturday, March 14, with the first game starting at 1 p.m.

Fans who purchased tickets for Sunday’s game can exchange them by contacting the Creighton Ticket Office. The office is located inside the Ryan Athletic Center and operates from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.

These adjustments were made to accommodate anticipated inclement weather and ensure that as many games as possible can be played safely.

Further updates regarding scheduling or ticketing are expected to be communicated through official university channels.
