Creighton University announced on Apr. 9 that the upcoming softball series against Georgetown will be rescheduled because of expected rain throughout the weekend.

The change is intended to avoid disruptions caused by inclement weather and ensure all games can be played as planned. The university said this adjustment aims to accommodate both teams and fans while maintaining player safety.

According to the new schedule, Creighton and Georgetown will play a doubleheader on Friday, April 10, starting at 3 p.m., with a third game set for Saturday, April 11 at 2 p.m. All games are scheduled to take place at Creighton Softball Stadium.

Fans who have already purchased tickets for Sunday’s originally scheduled game can exchange those tickets for any remaining regular season home game by visiting the Creighton Ticket office.

The university said it appreciates fans’ understanding as they adapt to changing weather conditions and encourages ticket holders to take advantage of the exchange option.
