On Saturday, Nov. 22, the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, featuring former Millard North High School standout Desmond Dhaenens, fell 38-16 to the Harding Bison in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The contest was held at First Security Stadium at 1 p.m., marking the Bearcats’ first tournament meeting with the Harding Bison.
