Dillon Claussen, the former Creighton Preparatory School standout, participated in the Washburn Ichabods’ 84-74 victory against the Missouri Southern State Lions on Saturday, Feb. 28.
The 6-foot-8 sophomore forward finished with six points, eight rebounds and two steals over 32 minutes on the floor.
Omaha Softball will face St. Thomas in a key Summit League series starting April 10 after an eight-game win streak. The Mavericks have achieved their highest-ever mid-major ranking this season and recently celebrated pitcher Alexis Wiggins’ weekly league honor.
Creighton’s softball series against Georgetown has been rescheduled due to rain in the forecast. The teams will now play a doubleheader on Friday and one game Saturday. Fans with Sunday tickets can exchange them for another home game.
