Rep. Don Bacon, who represents Nebraska’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of posts on December 13, 2025, addressing issues ranging from historical conflicts to current events and congressional procedures.

Later that evening at 21:23 UTC, he responded to reports concerning an incident involving Hamas and an Israeli hostage: “I hope this Hamas doctor who murdered the 19-year old Israeli hostage is held FULLY accountable for their crime.”
At 22:04 UTC on the same day, Bacon addressed the recent use of censure motions in the U.S. House of Representatives: “We went a hundred years in the U.S. House & only did 5 “censures” against fellow House members. Recently, we tried to do five in just one week. It has got out of control. @RepDonBeyer & myself want to ensure we do censures in a bipartisan way & not as a hyper-partisan cudgel to”
