Rep. Don Bacon, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska’s 2nd district since 2017, posted several updates on December 20, 2025, addressing U.S. military actions, online anti-Semitism, and legislative accomplishments.
In a post early that morning, Bacon commented on recent military operations against ISIS in Syria: “I’m glad we hammered ISIS today in Syria. They killed our soldiers and deserve a pummeling X 10. If they target Americans then they should expect an overwhelming response. That’s what they got.” (December 20, 2025).
Later the same day, Bacon responded to online hate speech with another statement: “Another anti-Semite hiding under an anonymous account. https://t.co/3ocAso2NXv” (December 20, 2025).
That afternoon, he announced the passage of key defense legislation: “#FY26NDAA has been signed into law! Our team worked on this year’s package and once again delivered a successful NDAA that included eight of our sponsored bills.
