On Saturday, Nov. 22, the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, featuring former Elkhorn High School standout Gannon Gragert, were defeated 38-16 by the Harding Bison in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The contest occurred at First Security Stadium at 1 p.m. and marked the first tournament meeting between the Bearcats and the Harding Bison.
