On Saturday, Nov. 29, the Saint John’s Johnnies, featuring former Millard West High School standout Barrett Van Deun, secured a 49-15 victory over the Monmouth Fighting Scots in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.

The contest, which marked the first tournament meeting between the two teams, was played at Clemens Stadium at noon.

Saint John’s Johnnies are scheduled to play their next game on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 12 p.m., again at Clemens Stadium.
