On Saturday, Nov. 22, the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks, featuring former Westside High School standout Grant Guyett, secured a 37-14 victory over the Findlay Oilers in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The matchup, held at Donnell Stadium at noon, marked the first tournament encounter between the Mavericks and the Findlay Oilers.

Minnesota State Mankato will face their next opponent on Saturday, Nov. 29, at 2 p.m. at Key Stadium.
