Omaha Women’s Golf finished ninth out of 14 teams at the Bell Bank “Pay it Forward” Collegiate, which concluded on Mar. 24 in Litchfield Park, Arizona.

The event is significant for the Mavericks as Emily Karmazin secured a tie for 14th place, finishing two-under par for the tournament. Her second-round score of 69 was not only her best of the week but also the lowest round recorded by an Omaha player during the event.

Jasmine Yang and Natalie Henson each made eagles on hole No. 18 during Monday’s rounds. Yang achieved hers in the opening round, while Henson matched it in the second round.

The University of South Florida (USF) claimed victory in the team competition with a final score of 26-under par, winning by ten strokes. Regina Plascencia from USF earned medalist honors after finishing nine-under par.

Omaha will return to action April 13-14 when they host their own Stampede at the Creek tournament at Indian Hills golf course.
