On Saturday, Nov. 22, the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, featuring former Millard South High School standout Max Gray, fell 38-16 to the Harding Bison in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
The contest was held at First Security Stadium at 1 p.m. and marked the teams’ first encounter in the tournament.
Omaha Men’s Tennis swept Nicholls State twice in a doubleheader on March 15. Junior Christian Trevey led with wins in both singles and doubles as the Mavericks improved to a season record of 7-8.
Omaha Baseball has cancelled its March 16 game against Maine due to expected cold weather. Fans can seek ticket exchanges or refunds through the athletics box office. The team will return to action on March 20 against Northern Colorado.
The Creighton men’s tennis team lost their spring break opener against Northwestern with a score of 4-0. The Bluejays now look ahead to their next match against Georgetown as they begin BIG EAST play.
