On Friday, April 18, former Mercy High School standout Mattingly Barnes’ current college team, the Wayne State Wildcats, lost 9-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Minnesota State Mavericks.
The game took place at Pete Chapman Complex. This was their second matchup against the Mavericks this season.
The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m. at Sanford Diamonds against Sioux Falls Cougars.
