Desmond Dhaenens, a former standout at Millard North High School and current player for the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, will participate in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
The team enters the tournament as the top seed and will face the Harding Bison, who are also seeded first.
The opening game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22, at 1 p.m.
