The Omaha Baseball team announced on March 12 that its Summit League series against North Dakota State will be rescheduled because of expected bad weather. The teams will now play a single game on Friday, March 13 at 4 p.m. Central Time, followed by a doubleheader on Saturday, March 14 starting at 1 p.m. Central Time.

This change is important for fans and players as it affects ticket usage and viewing plans for the weekend games. The second game of Saturday’s doubleheader will begin about 35 minutes after the first game ends. All three games are set to be broadcast on the Summit League Network.

Tickets originally marked for Sunday, March 15 can now be used for entry to the Saturday doubleheader. Fans with questions about their tickets are encouraged to contact the Omaha Athletics box office at 402-554-MAVS.

Supporters can stay updated with Omaha Baseball through their official accounts on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram using @OmahaBSB.

The adjustment in scheduling highlights how weather can impact college sports events and requires flexibility from both teams and fans.
