Omaha Women’s Tennis will start its conference season at home with matches against St. Thomas and Oral Roberts, according to a March 26 announcement.

The Mavericks, holding a record of 10-8 overall, enter Summit League play after securing a 5-2 victory over UC Riverside. The upcoming matches are scheduled for Friday, March 27 at 12:30 p.m. Central Time against the Tommies and Saturday, March 28 at 2:30 p.m. Central Time against the Golden Eagles. Both contests will take place indoors at Miracle Hill Tennis Center with live streaming and scoring available.

Two sophomores have been leading Omaha in singles competition this spring. Nina Wiese has achieved twelve singles wins—ten at the No. 2 position and two at No. 1—while Katelynn Kock has secured thirteen wins—twelve at No. 3 and one at No. 2. As a doubles team, Wiese and Kock have posted an impressive record of fifteen wins to two losses playing exclusively as the top pair.

Historically, Omaha holds a perfect five-win record over St. Thomas (currently standing at five wins and seven losses overall; zero-two in conference) and leads the series with Oral Roberts (four wins, thirteen losses overall; one win in conference) by seven victories to four.
