Omaha Women’s Tennis will travel west for two nonconference matches against CSUN and UC Riverside, according to a March 18 announcement. The Mavericks, currently holding a 9-7 record, recently secured victories over Lindenwood and Saint Louis.

These upcoming matches mark the end of Omaha’s nonconference schedule. The team has momentum after winning their last two contests, defeating Lindenwood 5-2 and Saint Louis 4-2 last week.

CSUN leads the all-time series with Omaha, having won their only previous meeting on March 19, 2019, by a score of 6-1. This will be the first dual match between Omaha and UC Riverside.

Sophomore Nina Wiese from Flushing, New York, was named the Kwik Star Summit League Peak Performer of the Week. Wiese is currently on a nine-match winning streak and remains undefeated this season in the No. 2 singles flight with a 7-0 record.

The Mavericks are scheduled to face CSUN at 11:30 a.m. Central Time on Thursday, March 19, followed by UC Riverside at 1 p.m. Central Time on Saturday, March 21. Live statistics will be available for both matches.
