On Friday, April 18, former Mercy High School standout Mattingly Barnes’ current college team, the Wayne State Wildcats, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Minnesota State Mavericks.

The game took place at Pete Chapman Complex. This was their first matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 2:45 p.m. at Pete Chapman Complex against Minnesota State Mavericks.
