On Saturday, Nov. 22, the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, featuring former Westside High School standout Jordan Hurst, were defeated 38-16 by the Harding Bison in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
The contest was held at First Security Stadium at 1 p.m., marking the Bearcats’ first encounter with the Harding Bison in the tournament.
Creighton University’s women’s softball team has changed its home opening series schedule against Providence due to forecasted bad weather. The opener will start earlier on Friday, with a doubleheader set for Saturday. Ticket exchanges are available for affected fans.
