On Sunday, April 13, former Mercy High School standout Mattingly Barnes’ current college team, the Wayne State Wildcats, lost 1-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles.
The game took place at Pete Chapman Complex. This was their second matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.
The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 12 p.m. at Pete Chapman Complex against Minnesota State Mavericks.
