On Sunday, March 30, former Burke High School standout Alyssa Thorson’s current college team, the South Dakota Coyotes, won 8-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the St. Thomas Tommies.

The game took place at Nygaard Field. This was their fifth matchup against the Tommies this season.

The Coyotes’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2 at 3 p.m. at Buel Field against Drake Bulldogs.
