Rep. Don Bacon, who represents Nebraska’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, addressed a range of issues on his social media account between December 22 and December 23, 2025.
On December 22, Bacon posted about efforts to combat antisemitism and the role of artificial intelligence platforms in amplifying harmful content. He stated, “We want to be in a country that makes clear antisemitism is repugnant & unacceptable, including when generated or amplified by AI. Our bipartisan resolution makes clear we must hold AI platforms accountable & work with them to ensure these technologies are not weaponized against”.
Later that day, Bacon offered assistance to constituents experiencing difficulties with federal agencies. In his post from December 22, he wrote, “If you can’t get timely answers from a federal agency or feel unfairly treated, our office can help resolve issues and get you info. We can’t guarantee a favorable outcome, but we’ll strive for a fair response.”
On December 23, Bacon commented on international relations involving Greenland and Denmark following remarks made by the President. He said, “Greenland and Denmark are our Allies. They’d work with us on bases and mining. This kind of talk from the President is damaging.”
Bacon has served as Nebraska’s representative since 2017 after succeeding Brad Ashford in Congress. Born in Momence, Illinois in 1963 and currently residing in Papillion, Bacon holds degrees from Northern Illinois University and the University of Phoenix.
