Rep. Don Bacon, currently serving as the U.S. Congressman for Nebraska’s 2nd district, shared a series of posts on April 9, 2026, addressing national security and international alliances.

At 19:35 UTC, Bacon discussed his appearance on CNN’s The Lead with Jake Tapper regarding international security alliances. Don Bacon has served as a member of Congress since 2017 after succeeding Brad Ashford. He was born in Momence, Illinois in 1963 and currently resides in Papillion. Bacon holds degrees from Northern Illinois University and the University of Phoenix.
