Rep. Don Bacon, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska’s 2nd district since 2017, recently addressed issues related to Chinese government influence and anti-Semitic rhetoric in a series of posts on his official Twitter account.
On March 18, 2026, Bacon wrote about legislation targeting foreign interference: “The bipartisan Combatting CCP Influence Act will ensure Congress has a clear understanding of the CCP’s expanding global influence & threats it poses. Bacon was born in Momence, Illinois in 1963 and currently resides in Papillion. He graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1984 and later from the University of Phoenix.
