Rep. Don Bacon, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska’s 2nd district since 2017, recently addressed issues related to Chinese government influence and anti-Semitic rhetoric in a series of posts on his official Twitter account.
On March 18, 2026, Bacon wrote about legislation targeting foreign interference: “The bipartisan Combatting CCP Influence Act will ensure Congress has a clear understanding of the CCP’s expanding global influence & threats it poses. Addressing discourse around Middle East policy, Bacon posted on March 18, 2026: “I respect differences of opinion on Iran, but blaming the ‘Israeli lobby’ for the war echoes some of the oldest anti-semitic tropes, dating back centuries, the false idea of a hidden Jewish cabal secretly controlling our country. Bacon was born in Momence, Illinois in 1963 and currently resides in Papillion. He graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1984 and later from the University of Phoenix.
