Rep. Don Bacon, who has represented Nebraska’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, shared a series of posts on November 18, 2025, addressing transparency in government documents and contract obligations.
In his first post at 19:46 UTC, Bacon stated: “I voted yes on the discharge petition and support the release of any Epstein documents held by the executive branch. I presume there’s not much there, because it would have been leaked extensively by both sides over the last five years. This is the most porous town in the world.”
Later that day at 20:14 UTC, he commented on labor contracts: “When a labor contract is signed, one party to the contract cannot just rip it up. We live up to our commitments.”
A third post was made at 22:46 UTC containing only a link: https://t.co/sN1PQfMYdr.
Bacon, born in Momence, Illinois in 1963 and currently residing in Papillion, Nebraska, succeeded Brad Ashford as representative for Nebraska’s 2nd district after winning election in 2016. He holds degrees from Northern Illinois University and the University of Phoenix.
