Rep. Don Bacon, a U.S. Congressman representing Nebraska’s 2nd district since 2017, posted several updates on his X (formerly Twitter) account on December 12, 2025. In his first post of the day, Rep. Bacon invited followers to watch his appearance on C-SPAN Washington Journal: “Live on @cspanwj. Tune in! https://t.co/biZoXIadrH” (December 12, 2025).
Later that afternoon, he addressed developments at the NSA: “The White House is withdrawing @JoeFrancescon as its nominee to be the National Security Agency’s (NSA) Deputy Director, meanwhile the acting Deputy Director will retire at the end of the month. This means the top two positions at NSA and the four-star commander at Cyber Command” (December 12, 2025).
In another post that day, Rep. Bacon commented on anti-Semitism: “Another sick individual. Anti-Semites deserve our scorn. https://t.co/prGgwS2IKr” (December 12, 2025).
