In his first post at 12:47 UTC, Bacon cited a Wall Street Journal editorial, stating: “America’s soybean producers are suffering enormous damage amid President Trump’s trade war with China.”
Later that day at 15:05 UTC, Bacon discussed energy policy and referenced his recent article in The Washington Times Clean Energy Special Section: “I believe we can create a policy ecosystem that allows both renewable generation and fossil fuels to thrive.”

At 15:32 UTC, Bacon commented on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, writing: Israel has tried for decades to meet in the middle, but Hamas would rather die than make peace.
Bacon has served as the congressional representative for Nebraska’s 2nd District since 2017 after succeeding Brad Ashford. He was born in Momence, Illinois in 1963 and currently resides in Papillion. Bacon holds degrees from Northern Illinois University and the University of Phoenix.
