Rep. Don Bacon, a U.S. Congressman representing Nebraska’s 2nd district since 2017, shared several opinions and reflections on his Twitter account on December 19, 2025.

In a post made at 03:56 UTC, Bacon expressed admiration for commentator Ben Shapiro, stating “Ben Shapiro is 10X the man with character as you.”

Later that day at 15:20 UTC, Bacon commented on the retirement of a prominent fighter from Omaha: “The best pound-for-pound fighter in the world is retiring. He will be leaving while on top! We will miss him in future fights, but Omaha is lucky to have him and his positive influence on youth and young adults. I appreciate that he walks the talk of his faith and wish him the”.

Don Bacon was born in Momence, Illinois in 1963 and currently resides in Papillion. He graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1984 with a BA and later attended the University of Phoenix.
