Rep. Don Bacon, who has represented Nebraska’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, shared updates and commentary on social media regarding local achievements and infrastructure developments.

On November 1, 2025, Rep. Bacon posted about Nebraska Volleyball’s performance: “Incredible dominance by the Nebraska Volleyball! 36 straight sets! https://t.co/oz5SuJ0Ss5”.

Earlier that day, he highlighted significant changes underway at a local airport: “The airport is going through a $1B modernization. It will nearly double in size and soon have international flights. https://t.co/g97fB2tZRo”.

Don Bacon began serving as the representative for Nebraska’s 2nd district after replacing Brad Ashford in 2017. He was born in Momence, Illinois in 1963 and currently resides in Papillion. Bacon holds degrees from Northern Illinois University and the University of Phoenix.
