Rep. Don Bacon, who represents Nebraska’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, shared several posts on his social media account on September 13, 2025, addressing foreign policy and other topics.

In a post from September 13, Bacon responded to characterizations of the conflict in Ukraine by writing: “‘It is Biden’s and Zelenskyy’s war’ is so morally blind and factually wrong. Mr President, Putin is the one who is the invader. And, now this war is on your watch and you’ll be judged in the history books in the decades to come by your actions or lack thereof.”

Later that day, Bacon posted another message: “Go Big Red!” (September 13).

On the evening of September 13, Bacon criticized U.S. diplomatic efforts with Denmark: “The ugly and foolish diplomacy this Administration showed towards our great ally, Denmark, is costing us money. It should not surprise us.”

Bacon has represented Nebraska’s 2nd district since replacing Brad Ashford in 2017. He was born in Momence, Illinois in 1963 and currently resides in Papillion. He holds degrees from Northern Illinois University and the University of Phoenix.
