Rep. Don Bacon, who represents Nebraska’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on his recent activities and engagements through a series of posts on September 15, 2025.
Bacon first announced his media appearance, writing, “Joining the @JulieMasonShow1 shortly. Tune in!” (September 15, 2025).
Later that day, he highlighted a diplomatic meeting with France’s ambassador: “Great meeting last week with French Ambassador Laurent Bili to discuss critical foreign policy & national security issues. From Ukraine to China, Iran to transatlantic relations, our partnership with France remains vital for global security and shared democratic values. https://t.co/YsHbAzi8V7” (September 15, 2025).
In another post the same evening, Bacon described discussions with Singapore’s defense minister: “Our team and I enjoyed welcoming Defense Minister Chan Chun Sing from Singapore, a key ally in the Indo-Pacific region, for an important discussion on regional security and defense cooperation. https://t.co/EtHD0wmc9V” (September 15, 2025).
Don Bacon has represented Nebraska’s 2nd District since replacing Brad Ashford in 2017 and is recognized for his focus on national security and international partnerships. Born in Momence, Illinois in 1963 and currently residing in Papillion, Bacon graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1984 before earning another degree from the University of Phoenix.
