Rep. Don Bacon, a U.S. Congressman representing Nebraska’s 2nd district since 2017, posted a series of tweets on October 3, 2025, addressing political communication and bipartisan cooperation.
In one post at 13:36 UTC, Bacon commented on an unspecified individual’s awareness of their surroundings, stating “It is obvious he is living in a bubble and only told things he wants to hear.”
Later that day at 18:52 UTC, Bacon published another message highlighting similarities among certain states: “These five states have something in common… just saying.”
At 19:21 UTC the same day, Bacon discussed his professional relationship with CJ King, noting their ability to work together despite political differences. He wrote, “I work with CJ King with ServeNebraska and other service organizations. He’s also the Chair of the Douglas County Dems. We disagree on various political issues but yet he is professional and a gentleman. It is the way politics and serving can and should be.”
Bacon has represented Nebraska’s 2nd District in Congress since replacing Brad Ashford in 2017. Born in Momence, Illinois in 1963 and currently residing in Papillion, Bacon holds degrees from Northern Illinois University and the University of Phoenix.
