Rep. Don Bacon, a U.S. Congressman representing Nebraska’s 2nd district, posted a series of messages on December 19, 2025, highlighting the importance of feedback within his party and reflecting on his legislative effectiveness.

In a tweet from that day, Bacon stated, “Feedback is the breakfast of champions. Honest feedback from within the party helps @POTUS lead more effectively and makes the country stronger.” (December 19, 2025).

Shortly after, he shared another post containing only a link: “https://t.co/ZTF0jufytO” (December 19, 2025).

Later that day, Bacon highlighted his legislative record in Congress: “I was rated the #2 most effective Congressman in the 118th Congress and the #1 most effective in the 117th Congress. We have six bills signed into law thus far in the 119th Congress. I was also rated the “Most Effective” member when it comes to our Military Defense in both the” (December 19, 2025).

Bacon has served as Nebraska’s representative for its 2nd congressional district since replacing Brad Ashford in 2017. He was born in Momence, Illinois in 1963 and currently resides in Papillion at age 59. Bacon holds degrees from Northern Illinois University and the University of Phoenix.
