Rep. Don Bacon, who represents Nebraska’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of posts on his official social media account highlighting military operations and media appearances.

On April 6, 2026, Bacon posted: “Rubio does it all! https://t.co/Jhzr1RnF0m”.

Later that day, he commented on a recent military rescue operation: “The rescue of the downed F-15E Weapon Systems Officer from behind enemy lines was an incredibly complex and dangerous operation. It required helicopters deep in hostile territory, refueling on the ground, and tight coordination across multiple units. None of it would have been https://t.co/RDle7SR3vP”.

Bacon has served as the representative for Nebraska’s 2nd District since 2017 after succeeding Brad Ashford. He was born in Momence, Illinois in 1963 and currently resides in Papillion. Bacon graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1984 and also holds a degree from the University of Phoenix.
