In a post made early in the morning, Bacon referenced his alma mater and its global work: “My Alma Mater doing its job… everyday, all over the globe. The Fighting Fifty-Fifth.” (October 10, 2025). Later that day, he invited followers to tune into a live segment by posting: “Live on @NOTUSreports. Tune in!” (October 10, 2025). In another update, Bacon announced an upcoming appearance on CNN where he would discuss various topics: “About to talk shutdown, Israel, and more on @CNN. Tune in!” (October 10, 2025).
Bacon has served as the representative for Nebraska’s 2nd District since succeeding Brad Ashford in 2017. He was born in Momence, Illinois in 1963 and currently resides in Papillion. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts from Northern Illinois University earned in 1984 and further studies at the University of Phoenix.
