Rep. Don Bacon, who represents Nebraska’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted several messages on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on March 21, 2026.
In one post, Bacon addressed a user named Charles: “Hi Charles… my mom is looking for you. #Nebraskanice.” (March 21, 2026).
Later that day, Bacon commented on the topic of voter identification: “Voter ID is popular with every demographic. Every poll shows very similar numbers.” (March 21, 2026).
Shortly after, he posted another message stating: “Please stay in Cuba.” (March 21, 2026).
Bacon has served as the representative for Nebraska’s 2nd District since replacing Brad Ashford in 2017. He was born in Momence, Illinois in 1963 and currently resides in Papillion. Bacon holds degrees from Northern Illinois University and the University of Phoenix.
