Rep. Don Bacon, who represents Nebraska’s 2nd congressional district in the U.S. Congress, highlighted the White family as NE-02’s 2025 Angels in Adoption Honoree for their work advocating adoption issues.

On September 11, 2025, Bacon posted on his social media account: “The White Family is NE-02’s 2025 Angels in Adoption Honoree for their advocacy for adoption issues. Read more about them in my upcoming newsletter tomorrow! https://t.co/wUvkDPYzNI”

Don Bacon has represented Nebraska’s 2nd District since replacing Brad Ashford in 2017 and resides in Papillion. Born in Momence, Illinois in 1963, he is an alumnus of Northern Illinois University and the University of Phoenix.
