Rep. Don Bacon, a U.S. Congressman representing Nebraska’s 2nd district since 2017, posted several updates on his social media account on March 20, 2026.

In one post, Bacon invited followers to listen to a local radio show: “Live on @kfabnews with Mayor Stothert’s new show. Tune in!” (March 20, 2026).

Later that day, he highlighted bipartisan support for NASA Science funding: “.@exploreplanets: The House is showing its support for NASA Science. 103 members of the U.S. House of Representatives, led by Congressional Planetary Science Caucus Co-Chairs Don Bacon (R-NE) and Judy Chu (D-CA) signed a bipartisan letter this week calling for $9 billion for” (March 20, 2026).

Bacon also expressed condolences following the passing of Chuck Norris: “Chuck Norris served as an Air Policeman in the United States Air Force during the Cold War, reaching the rank of Airman First Class. I’m saddened to hear of his passing and thank him for his service and legacy.” (March 20, 2026).

Don Bacon was born in Momence, Illinois in 1963 and currently resides in Papillion. He graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1984 with a BA and later attended the University of Phoenix.
