On Tuesday, April 15, former Roncalli Catholic High School standout Sam Wiese’s current college team, the Eastern Illinois Panthers, won 13-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Saint Xavier Cougars.

The game took place at Coaches Stadium at Monier Field. This was their first matchup against the Cougars this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 3 p.m. at Coaches Stadium at Monier Field against Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.
