On Friday, April 4, former Roncalli Catholic High School standout Sam Wiese’s current college team, the Eastern Illinois Panthers, lost 8-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UT Martin Skyhawks.

The game took place at Coaches Stadium at Monier Field. This was their first matchup against the Skyhawks this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m. at Coaches Stadium at Monier Field against UT Martin Skyhawks.
