On Saturday, April 12, former Mercy High School standout Mattingly Barnes’ current college team, the Wayne State Wildcats, won 7-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Bemidji State Beavers.
The game took place at Pete Chapman Complex. This was their second matchup against the Beavers this season.
The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 12 p.m. at Pete Chapman Complex against Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles.
