Colorism has been plaguing communities of color for decades and continues to pin people against each other. We can see the harm colorism plays within these communities through beauty standards and how media portrays races and ethnicities. This event will be in partnership with Inclusive Communities, a local nonprofit organization and UNO's Division of Student life and Well-Being. All are welcome to join this dialogue on color-based bias and its impact on representation and treatment within communities of color.
