On Sunday, April 13, former Mercy High School standout Mattingly Barnes’ current college team, the Wayne State Wildcats, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Pete Chapman Complex. This was their first matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 2 p.m. at Pete Chapman Complex against Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles.
