On Thursday, May 1, former Mercy High School standout Mattingly Barnes’ current college team, the Wayne State Wildcats, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Minnesota State Mavericks.
The game took place at Bowden Field. This was their third matchup against the Mavericks this season.
It was the last Wayne State Wildcats’ game this season
