On Saturday, March 14, Washburn Ichabods—featuring former Creighton Preparatory School standout Dillon Claussen—were narrowly defeated 64-62 by the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs in the opening round of the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The contest, held at Lee Arena at 5:30 p.m., marked the first time Washburn faced the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs in this tournament.
