Washburn Ichabods fall 7-6 to Central Missouri Mules in Division II matchup

The Washburn Ichabods were narrowly defeated 7-6 by the Central Missouri Mules in their NCAA Division II baseball game at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10. Former Millard North High School standout Braden Cork currently plays for the Ichabods.

The contest, held at Falley Field, marked the teams’ first faceoff this season.

Cork pitched 3.2 innings, giving up three earned runs while walking two and striking out two.

The Ichabods will next play on Friday, March 13, at 3 p.m. at Warren Turner Field, facing the Missouri State Lions.
