The Omaha Women’s Tennis team announced on Mar. 31 that Nina Wiese and Katelynn Kock have been named the Kwik Star Summit League Doubles Team of the Week for the third time this season.

This recognition highlights their consistent performance as a doubles pair during conference play. Their achievements are significant for the program, marking a standout season in both wins and consecutive victories.

Wiese, from Flushing, New York, and Kock, from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, secured two victories over their first weekend of conference matches. They posted identical 6-3 wins against St. Thomas and Oral Roberts to clinch crucial doubles points for Omaha.

As partners this spring, Wiese and Kock hold a record of 17-2 and are currently on a 13-match winning streak. Their total wins place them tied for fourth in most doubles victories in a single season in Omaha Women’s Tennis history.

The duo is scheduled to continue their run at North Dakota on Saturday, April 4 at 12:30 p.m. Central Time.
